Studio Sundays feature programs designed for visitors of all ages, including children and their families. Though admission is free, tickets are required. Advanced ticket reservations are recommended.

Bring the whole family to a thirty-minute Storytime celebrating books by children’s authors and illustrators of African descent! Each session connects stories to the exhibitions on view or the Museum’s permanent collection.

Visitors of all ages are invited to a weekly drop-in art-making workshop to create art inspired by exhibitions on view. Family-friendly projects welcome visitors for a fun afternoon of connecting with exhibition themes through a hands-on experience with a range of art materials.
