Enjoy free admission to the Studio Museum in Harlem every Sunday with Studio Sundays!
Stop by the Studio Museum and enjoy talks, tours, art-making workshops, Storytime, and family tours—in addition to viewing the exhibitions. Studio Sundays feature programs designed for visitors of all ages, including children and their families. Though admission is free, tickets are required. Advanced ticket reservations are recommended.
Storytime
Time: 11:30 am–12:00 pm
Bring the whole family to a thirty-minute Storytime celebrating books by children’s authors and illustrators of African descent! Each session connects stories to the exhibitions on view or the Museum’s permanent collection.
Drop-In Artmaking
Time: 12:00–4:00 pm
Visitors of all ages are invited to a weekly drop-in art-making workshop to create art inspired by exhibitions on view. Family-friendly projects welcome visitors for a fun afternoon of connecting with exhibition themes through a hands-on experience with a range of art materials.
Family Tour
Time: 1:00–2:00 pm
Bring the whole family for a special Museum Educator–led tour of the galleries. In this thirty-minute, family-friendly experience, you’ll dive into the artworks on view through lively gallery activities, hands-on materials, and fun challenges that inspire families to explore art in exciting ways.
Gallery Talks
Times: 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, and 4:00 pm
Join us for a fifteen-minute tour of our galleries led by our Museum Educators.
