Join us for an interactive gallery tour and art-making workshop inspired by artworks from the Studio Museum in Harlem’s exhibitions. This program invites adults with memory loss and their caregivers to explore the work of artists of African descent.


This tour is free of charge and requires advanced reservation.


Arts & Minds programs will begin in the Lobby on the first floor and depart 10 minutes after the program start time.


Arts & Minds partners with museums to bring the joy of art to people living with dementia and their care partners.

Accessibility


Interactivity level: High


Program length: This program runs from 2pm-3:30pm. The tour will cover 1 artwork from the museum’s exhibitions. The remainder of the program will focus on hands-on art making in the Education Workshop.


Accommodations: Folding stools, manual wheelchairs, assistive listening devices, tactile elements and accessible materials will be provided.
