Looking for a chill space to meet new friends, make art, and explore creative ideas?
Welcome to the Studio Museum’s new Teen Studio—a free, monthly drop-in art-making program designed for teens! At Teen Studio, participants build community, learn collaboratively, and create together through projects centered on art and artists of African descent. Teens connect with contemporary artists, experiment with a variety of materials, and produce works inspired by themes and pieces from the Museum’s exhibitions and permanent collection.
No prior art experience is required—and we’ve got you covered with subway fare, snacks, and supplies! For more information, contact [email protected].
This program is free and requires advanced reservation.

- Program Length: This program runs from 4pm-6pm on the third Wednesday of every month. Participants are welcome to drop in at any time or stay for the entire program.
