Come to Lil’ Studio for a joyful session of art, music, reading and play! 

We will begin by looking at Give Us a Poem by Glenn Ligon and then write our own short poems about love and care for our community. Our poems will come to life as we design them using wooden letters and patterned paper. We will conclude by singing songs and reading How to Write a Poem by Kwame Alexander.

Parents, caregivers, and organizations servicing little ones under five years old are invited to the NYPL Harlem Library to enjoy art making and other activities that encourage creative time and bonding.
