Richard Hunt is best known for his public commissions and abstract sculptures composed of welded and wax-cast metals. His freestanding sculptural works evoke the elegance of the natural world through abstract forms. Hybrid Form #3 is a mixture of the biomorphic and the purely abstract; it rises from a hard-edged geometric base into a smooth, rounded form that culminates in extensions that suggest antlers.
