The Studio Museum’s Education Department activates collaborative opportunities for learning, connection, and leadership through the creative process. The Program Assistant will provide support in the planning and implementation of the Studio Museum’s School and Community Partnerships and Teen Programs. This position assists program coordinators with essential tasks and projects that ensure programs and partnerships run smoothly, including: scheduling program sessions and planning meetings; processing invoices and payment requests; assisting with seasonal outreach, recruitment, and selection for Teen Programs; ordering program supplies; handling program inquiries from the public; and other administrative duties.
The Program Assistant works closely with members of the Education department, and has regular interaction with other museum staff and the public. This position is currently remote, to ensure the safety and health of our staff The Museum will continue to assess circumstances to determine when to resume in-person activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Proficiency with digital access management systems (DAMS)
Salary is commensurate with experience within the guidelines of a small not-for-profit.
