2016-17 artist in residence Autumn Knight will perform in the Mezzanine gallery on September 17 at 3 pm. Part of a series of participatory performances throughout the exhibition, Knight will perform Sanity TV, a fictional talk show that investigates the flexible boundaries of identity and psyche.
Each episode explores a distinct topic and builds towards the season finale on January 7, 2018.
Autumn Knight’s Sanity TV is part of We Go as They: Artists in Residence 2016-17, an exhibition on view at The Studio Museum in Harlem from September 14, 2017 to January 7, 2018.
This performance is free and open to the public, though pre-registration is encouraged. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
