2016–17 artist in residence Autumn Knight will perform in the Mezzanine gallery on September 17 at 3 pm. Part of a series of participatory performances throughout the exhibition, Knight will perform Sanity TV, a fictional talk show that investigates the flexible boundaries of identity and psyche.

Each episode explores a distinct topic and builds towards the season finale on January 7, 2018.

Autumn Knight’s Sanity TV is part of We Go as They: Artists in Residence 2016–17, an exhibition on view at The Studio Museum in Harlem from September 14, 2017 to January 7, 2018.

This performance is free and open to the public, though pre-registration is encouraged. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
