Please join Thelma Golden and The Studio Museum in Harlem on a trip to New Haven, where we will be welcomed by Courtney J. Martin, the Paul Mellon Director of the Yale Center for British Art, to view their presentation of 2011–12 Artist in Residence Njideka Akunyili Crosby’s "The Beautyful Ones" series. After a light lunch, we will visit 2006–07 Artist in Residence Titus Kaphar’s artist incubator space, NXTHVN, and convene with his newest cohort of artist fellows.
