Inspired by Akosua Adoma Owusu’s video Anancy, on view in the current exhibition Fore, participants will enjoy a reading of Gerald McDermott’s well-known tale Anansi the Spider and create their very own spider masks in a fun, art-making workshop.

Parents with little ones ages 2.5 to 4 are invited to the Studio Museum to enjoy art-making and other activities that encourage creative time and bonding.

Lil’ Studio is free, refreshments will be provided. Pre-registration is required.
