Dr. Robert Farris Thompson in conversation with Dr. Lowery Stokes Sims
Join us for a presentation and intimate conversation on the occasion of the release of Robert Farris Thompson's Aesthetic of the Cool: Afro-Atlantic Art and Music. This fully-illustrated book brings together all of Thompson's writings on his concept of "the cool," some previously unpublished and many out-of-print. The program will be followed by a book signing.
